What happened already in 2012?

- recently my pet Han died, my dear gerbil was already 4 years old so he had a good life. Lars has 2 new friends so he is excited and accepted them immediately.

- I am going to work for another employer. My new job starts in March! It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the “whole package” is interesting and I am proud of being the chosen one out of 5-6 people!

- a close family member received bad news. More tests needs to be done and there is a high risk of an operation. The disease is permanent.

- I am honored to be one of the chosen cosplay members to take part in a cosplay catwalk. It means a lot to me and doing it together with some talented colleagues is just AWESOME! *high five*

=> I got some days off: the 3rd and 6th February. I am also planning to take the 28th and 29th.

Tomorrow I will have a big, long but important day:  Exp. training for MS Office 2010 and something else.
That something else will possibly have a huge impact on my future.

This occurrence made me think about few things: like will I continue in doing the job I’m doing now, continue not taking care of my body as it should be and mostly avoiding the back pain in the future. I am not getting younger.

As for our plans:
- planning our trip to Japan
- replace the current kitchen
- installing our window shutters

=> they are still a “go”.

I am saving lots of money and trying to sell stuff I do not use.
Cosplay wise: re-using some things, finish my “old” projects with their already bought materials and fabrics, mainly avoid spending money. If there is money spent, keeping it to a strict budget and hardly use eBay!

The scheduled projects except 2 are all “old” planned and postponed projects. Their dates: 1 or 2 years old (even almost 3 years!)

Speaking of years: this year it will be my 8th year of cosplaying!
Watching back to the old days, I made huge progress and created great memories. <3
