Dying process
For the golden opera gloves I used yellow dye.
They were just too golden and not matching my Belle dress.
I like the result how they turned out! 
Especially knowing that it was my first try-out with dye.

Working process of Belle
I’m going to wear the gold/yellow dress of Belle Saturday at AniMagiC.
Unfortunately it is still not finished! 
The skirt is almost done but the corset, the wig and the gloves must still be made.
Afterwards the details must be added: earrings, pearls, ribbon on top of the corset and ribbon on the skirt.
I’m lacking time! I’m keeping my fingers crossed in the hope that it works out!

Latest Thoughts
AniMagiC is coming closer! 
I am REALLY looking forward to this.
Not only because it is something new but because I am going to see some friends again!
Francis almost did not come! I am glad that he rent a car.
I will do my best to take plenty photos on Saturday as most of the Belgian cosplayers are coming Sunday.
Maybe be can arrange a German picknick? 
The photoshoot with Kris was fun.
Only sad that I was in a forgetful mood!
I do not like to forget something and especially NOT on a photoshoot!
But other than that everything went fine.
The weather was nice, Kris and Nat(h?)alie were very friendly (and patient) and I am certain that some of them are already good!
The photos will be delivered around September.
So guys (and girls) you’ll have to wait until then!
Which reminds me, I have to contact Atmikes for those Mary Poppins photos…
While I was checking the AniMagiC website the promotional ad of EFF was lurking.
Honestly, I would like to go there too but I guess with the house etc it will be difficult.
Diana-sama and our Joline with het BF are some of the photos they use on the ad.
It’s always nice to see some photos again from people you know.
BTW FACTS is coming closer too!
I’m glad that I started to work on my cosplay for Sunday.
It is possible that I will do another one on Saturday than planned because the Robin Hood group is not very active.
I discovered last time that my Mary and Bert on in the visitors cosplay gallery. Thanks a lot to everyone who made this possible!
But before FACTS we have Paris Manga.
Hopefully I won’t be too late for the subscription!
I received the dealers document and I am in the folder with my Princess Kakyuu!

In the 2 latest months of this year we will organize a cosplay Rozen Maiden photoshoot.
We almost have all the Rozen Maidens, so this should be fun!
BCT is going to organize a meeting on the 8th of August.
I wish I could go but unfortunatly I cannot because we will be working in our house.
Lots of changements need to be made.
They know that I want to read their report of the meeting, so hopefully they will make it very quickly.

Photoshoot with Kris
This Saturday I am going to do a photoshoot with Kris Saelen.
Yuuko and Seong Mina (Soul Calibur) are my chosen cosplays.
It will be possible that I will use my Halloween hat too.

General progress
- Sailor Saturn: almost finished
- Yûko Ichihara: re-checked her because the dress etc were slightly damaged due to transport and the wind:the wig, butterflies and the pearls of the dress are done. Only the black patterns are left to check.
- Seong Mina (SC): checked the golden circle etc patterns and added the green fabric.
- Belle: started on the dress!

Sailor Saturn updates
Things that needed to be done:
- altering bow on the skirt (needed to be shorter)
- altering the skirt (needed to be shorter)
- making the boot covers
- altering the shoulder cover in fabric (needed to be smaller)
- finishing the Silence Glaive
- making a tiara
- cutting some minor hairs from my wig
These things are finished for AniMagic.

Sculpting and Prosthetics
I went today to a workshop how to work with sculpting and prosthetics.
It was really fascinating and I enjoyed it a lot.
Sculpting is a Zen way actually, how it calms you…
Again I knew it from the past (jewelery making, clay, …) but it was fun to do it with a group.
Unfortunately I had to leave sooner so I could not finish my workshop.

Feedback of 17th Epitanime edition
+ online information and facility to order your tickets
+ location, this time only took 1 metro
+ beautiful/unique cosplays and nice acts
+ no delays in their activities (only Sunday a minor delay)
+ no large standing-in-line queque to enter / multiple entrances and exits
+ depôt vente! ( they sold 12 objects from me – I had 22 wiht me)
+ “cheap” prizes for food/drinks compared to other cons
+ diversity was well spread => less crowded
+ goodies bag when you payed your entrance!
+ hotels and restaurants are close to the event
+ possibility to sit (chairs!)
+ beautiful game music
+ seperated F/M changing room (even for non participated contestants)
+ seperate photoshoot space
+ cosplay nocturne: truly something unique and very beautiful to watch!
Con:
- controle bagage, sometimes annoying
- less dealers than last year
- depôt vente was again waiting in a long queque, why don’t they use online filed in documents to save some time?
- warm weather!
- not enough toilets compared to the crowd
- hot(bloody hot!) changing room. This in combination with too many people is not healthy.
- cosplayers who did not followed the rules (time limit on a act is there with a reason!)
Personal points:
+ met new people 
+ bought cheap stuff that I did not find that easily!
+ received plenty compliments and they took lot of photos!
- I had the feeling that some winners were “arranged”
- they do not provide a full list of the results of the participated winners. Little sad because we could learn from it!
- forgot to wear my gloves of Yuuko (I am positive that I received less points because of this!)
