I lost a lot of time in speaking my French text for my act.
French is already a difficult language for the pronounciation but also you have to be careful when you talk to not to blow hard in the microphone.
I was obliged to leave a  phrase out of my normal text and talk a little faster because it was otherwise too long. -_-”
To be honest I am not a 100% satisfied with my result but due to the timeframe I am kind of obliged to keep it.

As I had an aweful long delay in my recording my voice, I did not yet have the time to redo the butterflies, the wig and the dress.

But the good news is, that the Sunday act went smoothly and that Dumbledore’s book is finished.

To be done:

• check the dress
• redo the wig + butterflies
• pratice the skit

I’m wondering it is still possible to use that little extra “thing” in my act…

…how much you can learn when you are working on something.
I am going to expedite my range of knowledge!

Somehow it even fascinates me.
That makes me wonder, if everyone thinks/feels alike…

I am currently improving my Yuuko (or Yûko). Things are going well.

When I was working on it, I realized something.  I’m quite lucky to have bought almost everything I need for cosplays of this year! Since I’m going to pay a house off,  it will be less cosplay time but not for this year!

Also due to the works we’ll have to do, it will take a while before we can move in.  This means that I do need to use my time, while I’m still living at my parents place, very carefully. We need to finish 5 costumes and expand one!

- I bought a house with my BF. Finally after searching for almost a year, it’s nice to have a lovely home. It will take a few months before we are going to get the actual keys.  Once we have them, we have to start on the works, so hopefully by mid November we will be able to move.   There is one spare room where I can leave my cosplay belongings.  Lucky me!

- I finally saw the Disney movie “Enchanted” and I liked it a lot. Most of the newest Disney movies don’t attract me, but this is a little different. Now only waiting for the new animation with the frog fairytale!

- Searching for a new job. Last week I had plenty of tests and interviews. 3 vacancies, the sessions are already done for 1, with another one I’m sitting in the 2nd phase (out of 3) and the last one is undecided. They are going to notify the candidates when everything has been checked. (test part).

- Soon I’ll go to Epitanime. I’m grateful for this long weekend since I am going to have a the time that I need to fix, expand my cosplay.

Last Sunday we went to the stoffenfestijn in Antwerp. Bought so much fabric for the rest of this year!
Approximatively payed 3€/1 meter.
Yesterday I received the news that I am allowed to participate the cosplay contest of Hanami this Saturday!
On the 16th I’m going to do a photoshoot with my Mary Poppins cosplay.

Pros:
- changing rooms for everyone (even cosplayers who didn’t participate the contest) with large mirrors
- location: beautiful castle
- cosplay contest by Bullejapon.fr, those people were friendly
- separate individuals and group contest, some people could go 2 days to the event for free!
- 2 different location for toilets (+ even in the changing rooms) => less queues
- they even gave Robocop special attention because of his minor flexibility in his suit
- Brussels is quite central for the travelers who came by train (direct stop)
- free drink water on Friday
- the announcements of the delays!
- friendly assistants!

Cons:
- few dealers
- lost inscriptions? Why confirm then first? It caused extra stress for 3 people on Friday
- the results of the contests were announced quite late
- Friday no food (even no drinks), we did receive some information of one of the assistants but maybe it was better to provide that information to everyone by hanging a huge poster
- we were missing a plan were you could find everything (on the event as well on the website)
- they should more more information how people could get there with the train, metro and bus
- sticky and grouse bathroom in the womens changing room
- delays

Personal Pros:
- giving candy
- saw some people back!
- had the chance to talk decently with some friends
- French DVD’s with Eng. subtitles(for 12 euros!)
- free ride home from Kristof!
- reversed world, Saturn had to be tiny and Uranus had to be the tallest one but it caused some funny moments
- had a fun, great day with our Sailor Moon group!
- Sander who was there on Friday! Thanks for helping me out and I enjoyed our conversation!
- nice photographers
- people who liked the mascot
- made Francis happy with our little gift!
- the weather was good

Personal Cons:
- still quite a French convention but I must say that they did more effort than some other events!
- worked long on my Sailor Saturn costume and prop
- noticed that we have the adjust some things on our Sailor Moon costumes
- changing room was sometimes too small (too crowded)
- friends who didn’t show up on Friday
- not much photos from me by Aztek-TV (mainly because we were busy!)
- wearing a half dead, red wig on Friday
- I believe (aside from 2 people) no one took pictures of my mascot
- someone\’s French reaction on Friday!

I did not expect to win with our Sailor Moon group at all.
Mainly because it was not our intention!
We agreed to do this to:
1) see all our costumes and to see what needs to be changed
2) try to work together act and so on
3) have some pictures from us
4) try to make an act and to see how the crowd would respond
But mainly: having fun! Which we had!
I can assure you, we were astonished!
Murder Club and Nana had more reaction from the crowd than we and their acts were better…
My favorites were Disgea, Alice group and Pokémon on that day.
