Long time hu? Well I have been busy.
My Puchiko repairments are made, Jill Valentine has been updated and I organized some photo shoots.

I already found the perfect fabric for my SM, Belle (partly), Seung Mina (partly) and X (partly).
Finally I decided on the cosplays for upcoming year.
I realized that I wanted to do X because it must be fun and Y because I always wanted to do her.
Y was tough I kept doubting on 2 costumes she wears.

Honestly for X and Y I already thought of the act… weird hu?
Mostly I start thinking about it during the making of the costumes but now it is a little sooner than expected. It is the same with another costume.
Maybe my way of working change slightly without really realizing it?

The SM cosplay, it already kept me awake.
There are 2 different versions and I would like to do the last one.
Mainly because the challenge of the jewelery is bigger than the first one.
Those boots and the type of fabric… I guess time will tell.

Regarding the photo shoots, 3 were organized.
One already passed (Freya) and 2 (maybe 3) are upcoming.
I just hope that I have a good night sleep before the shoots and that the weather is not too cold.

The pictures from Freya were nice but it is sad that the wig at the end of my photo shoot slipped… -_-”

My current to-do list of this year:
- completing Kakyuu
- completing Bert
- completing Seung Mina
- adjust bodice of Frost Fairy

The costumes for the photo shoot I currently prefer:
- Sumomo
- Puchiko
- Frost Fairy
- Jill
- Seung Mina
- Mary and Bert => for next year probably as Tom has a difficult schedule

I concluded that internet is again useful. Not only items but also information.
It is amazing how things can easily be found even if you do not intentionally look for it.

Yesterday I bought the new Disney DVD of Tinkerbell.
My mom and I watched the movie and we liked it a lot.

Today I went to Antwerp.
I found a new DIY store where I went crazy!
The bill was quite high at the cashier but I am not going each weekend to Antwerp so why not?

It is a new store and quite rare in Belgium.
The most ones can be found in the Netherlands.
Hopefully they will have a store in Mechelen or Brussels too so I won’t have to go so far. ^_^

PS3 versus Xbox 360.

There are a lot of games (coming) out that I want so badly.
SC4, Silent Hill Homecoming, RE5, DOA5(?) and Disney sing it but also the latest TR game that will be released by end of this month!

It was a hard choice but I just took a list of the game titles that were already released and the future game titles.
Eventually it was XBOX 360 which had the most interesting games for me.

Lucky for me the XBOX360 is cheaper (compared to PS3) and I heard that the client service is the best of those 2. So an XBOX360 it is!!

Don’t get me started about the graphics and everything. I mean, compare my PS and PS2 with a GC?! The graphics, system and everything will keep changing.

I am going to buy it because there are 8-9 games that I want. If it were only for 3 games I would not buy it but in this case…

Secretly I love that Eternal Sonata game and I guess I won’t be disappointed of the Tales of Vesperia too.

I only have to wait a little longer because maybe there are some great deals during the Santa Claus period.

Pos:
- entrance quite cheap compared to other conventions
- not too crowded. You were still able to walk around and the female toilet line was quite ok.
- free parking place!
- parking spaces near the building
- assortment of goodies was bigger than last year (we bought a few rare things!)
- fixed seats for cosplayers
- seats for the audience
- a quiet room (=where we had our performance) without distractions
- water and stuff received while we were waiting

Neg:
- sushi was a little expensive BUT fresh and yummy! (so OK)
- only 10 (?) dealers, not so much
- changing room, can be wrong but I had the feeling that man/woman was not separated (if I am wrong please let me know)
- toilets were not so hygienic
- the fact that it is the first time that everyone had to wait longer than usual… (good reasons but some people were not happy because they had to drive a long way back to home – not me tough)
- long row for drinks/noodles/sandwiches :s
- sad that Corpse Bride was not with the winners

Personal neg:
a machine problem/MP3 problem… Aaarggghhh!
Very annoying and frustrating at that moment. (not only for me) When I went on stage for the 2nd time I was more nervous because I kept thinking “what if something goes wrong again…”
I know BCT was not responsible but I just wanted to express my feeling, that all. Never think that I will point a finger at BCT! Just to be clear on that part.

Did not saw Francis and Elly so much… *snif*

Personal pos:
- a few nice acts and unique/original costumes
- saw a lot of cosplayers/friends back and that is ALWAYS fun (but missed some other ones)

Special note:
Respect for our Belgian Golden Angels group!
It was awesome!!
I find it cool that they pulled it off!
It was a large group, many came from different places (Ghent, Leuven, …) and some spoke a different language (French <> Flemish).
These things were definitely not easy but they showed how something can overcome all that! ^_^
Truly I am really proud of you all!!

Some people has difficulties about understanding the acts/ presentations in French.
I’m not but I do can understand that it can be quite annoying if you don’t.
On the other hand, they KNOW that they went to a French speaking con so they why are they making a fuss about it?
